Wise guy who thought of the hug

Image

Hugs. Hmm….

I wonder how they all started. What compiles a person to extend their arms, reaching out to pull another human close, wrapping their arms around your body and squish? Ick! Invasion of the alien feelings – pew is it over. Really what does this hug crap mean or prove? This may very well be just as much uncomfortable as eye contact.

I’ve never been much of a hugger but I have also never really understood or related to the need of a hug from one human to another. I will hug people. Doing so seems to make the normal people happy and let me be for a while. I’m not sure how this can make you feel loved but to each their own. It just seems stupid to me and I secretly laugh at the sight of those in eye range view “hugging!”
